Meridian Real Estate

Sometimes the best things in life start out humbly. Meridian, bordering Boise to the west, began as a dairy town in the agriculturally rich Treasure Valley. Today, ambitious expansion has turned the small town into a city of 40,000, representing a 12% increase in growth over the past five years. The majority of Meridian 's residents enjoy the approach of living in a bedroom community, commuting an average of 21 minutes to work. In this way, the pristine atmosphere of the close-knit society is preserved. Along with the idyllic setting of a caring and vibrant community, Meridian offers a plethora of options as she also displays a business-friendly community to developing industry and commerce. Meridian offers small-town lodging, dining, shopping, and recreational opportunities that make Treasure Valley life memorable

EVENTS:

“Gentlemen, start your engines!” The Meridian Speedway draws stock car racing fans from all over the valley from spring through fall. The first track was simply an empty pasture near the Meridian Dairy Barns. Spectators watched from hay bales placed around the track. “In 1951, a group of young men donned their old coveralls and worn out tennis shoes, jumped in their jalopies and ‘went racin.”

Calling upon her original dairy roots, Meridian celebrates ‘Dairy Days' in June and the ‘Scarecrow and Harvest Festival' in October. It's a traditional way to commemorate the autumn season bringing fun and excitement to the ‘ Old Town ' area.

RECREATION:

Meridian offers fun times with 16-acre Roaring Springs Water Park. Designed by Disney engineers, a fun day is guaranteed in the hot Idaho summer with a wave pool, racing waterslides, waterfalls, and kiddie pools. Blast down a four-story flume then whirl in a high-velocity whirlpool in the latest addition, ‘Viper's Vortex!'

Boondocks Fun Center offers 8 acres of fun for everyone with 36 holes of miniature golf, go-carts, arcade games, bumper cars, laughter, and more. Located right off Interstate 84, Boondocks Fun Center provides wholesome family entertainment with an enforced, written dress code and code of conduct rules.

EDUCATION:

Approximately twenty public schools serve Meridian families. Meridian School District is the largest in Idaho and continues to grow annually with the vision of neighborhood schools.

DINING:

The dining scene in Meridian is changing as quickly as the town is growing. A new and exciting movement and attitude from local restaurateurs are raising the bar for a discriminating clientele.

HOUSING:

Meridian real estate is a fast moving business. With the enhanced lifestyle of small town Idaho, lower housing prices, and continued growth, homes in Meridian are a desirable portion of the Treasure Valley market.
